Welcome to ZURU, the home of Zuru Muiza or Schloss Suhr.
This Site (as also the castle) is under construction and further content will be added step by step.
The Zuru Muiza and its Park are private Property. Access to the grounds is strictly at own risk and no liability will be granted.
Persons will be held responsible for damage, theft or vandalism and any abuse will be prosecuted. Entering the building without conscent is strictly forbidden and will be prosecuted. The Castle and the Park are equipped with Video-Cameras and Photo-Traps.
Please keep Zuru clean, treasure its beautiful Nature and Wildlife. Please collect and remove your own trash. Please keep Dogs on the leash and do not disturb the birds and their nests.
Access to the Buildings Dzeņi, Cipreses and to the plots in the north of the Muiza including Jāņsētas and Lejasparks and the agricultural terrains east of the muiza including access to the beach and to the Motocross Track are subject to regulation and Fees. Like driving and using the roads or plot in any manner also using the plot for Parking is subject to fees.
The use of Roads and Trails is permitted only with the conscent of the owner and it is NOT free of charge even if there might be a waypass-right.
A regulation for Dzeņi is currently under negotiation with the authorities of Ventspils Novads.
